The main frame of a hard-top car tent is typically made of high-strength ABS plastic, a material that combines lightweight design with impact resistance, able to withstand outdoor sun, rain, and minor collisions.
The tent shell is approximately 28 cm thick when closed and reaches a height of 90 cm when unfolded, providing enough space for 2-3 people to lie down. Its load-bearing capacity is generally up to 300 kg, sufficient to support the dynamic pressure of adult activity.
Regarding the fabric, the outer layer uses thickened waterproof canvas with waterproof strips, capable of handling moderate to heavy rain; the inner layer uses breathable mesh, forming a double-layer structure that ensures airflow while reducing condensation buildup.
The tent features double or multiple windows on the sides, paired with tear-resistant screens, balancing ventilation and mosquito protection.
